The mouse is produced fairly and regionally in an integration workshop in Heidelberg. Here, people with disabilities are enabled to participate by providing workplaces individually adapted to their needs.

The mouse is completely repairable. All individual parts are available.

The Fair Mouse has an ergonomic shape, allowing for wrist-friendly use with both the left and right hand. The housing plastic is made of non-toxic post-consumer recycled material.

Technically, the Fair Mouse is up to date:
Its high sampling rate allows for use without a special mouse pad. The buttons are particularly durable with a lifespan of 10 million clicks. We deliberately produce wired mice to make the mouse light and reliable without relying on batteries. This, in turn, reduces unnecessary, environmentally harmful mining of corresponding ores for wireless and storage technology. We save additional copper by offering two cable lengths: 0.9m for laptops and 2.1m for desktop PCs.

The Fair Mouse is produced in an integration workshop of Lebenshilfe in Heidelberg. There, it is created under fair conditions, without exploitation and without child labor. We also attach great importance to social responsibility, transparency, and sustainable practices when selecting our suppliers.

That's why we make our entire supply chain publicly accessible. This way, sustainability is not just promised, but verifiable for everyone.

Terms of Payment

(1) Payment can be made by advance payment (bank transfer), cash on delivery, PayPal, credit card or invoice.

(2) For every order, the buyer receives an invoice, which is handed over upon delivery of the goods or transmitted electronically. The invoice amount is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice. If advance payment or direct debit is chosen as the payment method, the payment obligation already applies upon receipt of the order confirmation. A cash discount is excluded.

(3) In the event of late payment, the statutory default interest rates apply. For consumers, the default interest rate is 5 percentage points above the respective base interest rate. For entrepreneurs, the default interest rate is 8 percentage points above the base interest rate. The right to claim further damages caused by default remains reserved.

(4) Offsetting with counterclaims is only permissible if these have been legally established, are undisputed or have been acknowledged by fairIT Vermarktung GbR. The buyer is only entitled to exercise a right of retention if the counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.

Delivery and Availability

(1) Delivery is subject to the availability of the ordered goods. Should a product not be available, the buyer will be informed immediately. Payments already made will, of course, be fully and promptly refunded in this case, unless subsequent delivery is desired.

(2) Available products will be shipped within the delivery time specified for the respective item. Shipping takes place after receipt of the order for invoice and cash on delivery payment methods, or after receipt of payment for advance payment, PayPal or direct debit.
